We sometimes take for-granted the freedoms we have today, and forget those people who suffered because of the color of their skin. Those pictures gave me a glimpse into the past, and helped open my eyes to how it might have felt to be told where you could and could not go. It's too bad that people are treated by the color of their skin, their religious beliefs, what they wear, what they believe in, and everything else. I ask why can't we see one another as equals, and instead of judging someone right off the bat, get to know them first because the people who you are quick to judge are the ones who are the most important in your life.
